Summer 2018

We have had a fun summer playing in the sun and telling lots of stories. The children enjoyed daily walks on campus checking out the community garden and watering tomatoes and peppers of our own. Thursdays were full of water play, sunshine, and laughter. We tasted several different items with our new hot lunch program and they were tasty!

A favorite among the children was watching the “big digs” and concrete trucks work on our Nano Nagle building. We embarked on our remodel and expansion project May 29th and have watched the progress throughout the summer. The existing building has been completely remodeled with classrooms and bathrooms moved and the previous chapel will be a multi use space. Our expansion is underway, adding four new classrooms, 4 bathrooms, and an eating area.

Summer is coming to a close and we are all looking forward to the new school year. Sometimes this transition to new classrooms takes a few weeks for the children to settle into their new routines, remember sleep and healthy breakfasts are a great way to help your kiddo be ready for their day. Enjoy these last few weeks of summer.
